Frosty morning

The city had a 4 degree frost this morning. I took a screenshot of my phone just after 8am. It was showing minus 2 degrees in Cashmere which is on the flat. In comparison our weather station was showing positive 6 degrees outside our house in Cashmere Hills. We live 200 metres above sea level and never see a frost.
