Why? Why? or "YY"
I am shutting down comments as my story of woe is getting me down and I hate to think what it might do to others. Still haven't got around to doing any serious Bliping and in particular catching up on two special Blip journals. Please bear with me. Now stop reading; the rest is my private observations/diary for today.
Home nursing service although not given the responsibilty (or money) to inspect the wound from my operation in Memmingen hospital 10 days ago, insisted on coming by on Saturday and Sunday to check it out and were not over happy with the healing so did some wound dressing, making the comment that they didn't think the time was right to pull the sutures on Monday as recommended.
So today off to GP for various prescriptions (Ottobeuren hospital had given me all I needed until midday Monday) and showed him wound. He said sutures needed to be removed - managed to subdue the screams of pain to 6 or 7 "oooouches".
Home and collapsed for most of the afternoon getting up just in time to help MrB unload the two hay bales. An hour or two of chat and shortly after he left was aggravated by itching around wound although one says: if it itches , it's healing. Thought I ought to take a look and saw quite a lot of blood anf the entire wound had opened up. Had visions of various innards coming out. Drive to A&E at Ottobeuren hospital at 10:00pm and as I have come to learn, had quick 1st class treatment even if each of the 5 local anaesthetic injections did cause me to let out an "AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH". Luckily I had pre-warned the Doc! Then a few new sutures and sent home with the instruction to go to my specialist tomorrow.
I hope to be off antibiotics by Thursday as I think they are responsible for annoying problems with my eyes most notably at night. It was no fun driving back home at 11:00pm.
Lets see what part(s) falls off tomorrow!
PS. Barack/GCHQ - I think with a bit of hi-tech digital imaging software you might be able to identify MrB in the reflection in the SUV mirror. Looking forward to seeing what ranking he reaches on the "Most Wanted" list.
