Water of Life

This is a lovely water sculpture in the centre of Chester Cathedral. There are very large Carp in the pond where it is centre stage. We walked around the city walls which is very nice and full of history stretching back to the Norman conquests and through to the Civil War. It is hard to believe that Chester used to be a Sea Port, but now the sea has long receded. Fascinating.
