Bird on a wire...

At the nature reserve this morning, it seemed the young Redshank were out in force and trying their luck on balancing on the wire fence!  Made for  a fun time watching them!

Quite a few birds out and about today - yellow wagtail, sedge warblers, long tailed tits, reed bunting, goldfinch, wren, whitethroat, chiffchaff and swans.  Not so many butterflies about this morning as it was mostly overcast, but did see my first large skipper of the year! hopefully more will follow...if the Summer weather ever arrives!!
