A dry day was forecast. I had an idea . . . a four mile walk, somewhere I haven’t been for many years.

Then thought that I should finish the garden path. I dug down, got it level and spread the second bag of chippings. That wasn’t enough so had to drive to the garden centre and buy another.

Finished the path and while still in gardening clothes took bags of soil and hedge trimmings to the recycling site.  Outdoor jobs finished for a while.

In the afternoon a walk to the shops. Decided to blip the jackdaws that seemed to be waiting for a taste of a Greggs takeaway.
