Spoiled Rotten!

Kids have it great these days, at least in Barcelona!

This is the ‘Jungle Gym’ in our new nearby park. There were no kids about so I could get closer today. Top right shows how you get to the top of the slides whose exits are shown on the bottom shot. You step onto the yellow stool, climb into the wire cage loop and work your way up and round to reach your desired tube-slide mouth. With me so far? Stuck half way up?

Once at the summit, you let yourself go and then come shooting out of the slide exits that you see … providing, of course, that your own circumference is less than that of the tube! Otherwise the fire brigade has to be called!

The whole thing is an amazingly imaginative construction that kids fall in love with at first sight! And there are swings, as well, and what a variety there are, including a parent-child one!

I hope LadyF, Kendall, Wildwood and Connections (the most advanced kids I know here) will share some of what they had available when they were a little younger!
