What?

Yes I want you to
throw it.  But no, I won't give
it. What can you do?

Quite the conundrum.  He loves chasing a ball but will not relinquish it once he has it.  Usually I have 2 balls, one for him to hold and one to chase but spare ball has become lost in the undergrowth.  What can you do Gladys?
Ben went into school at 10am today, they're trialling a slightly earlier start.  It seemed to work today.  He's been OK really since he got home, a bit impulsive and asking for food a lot but that's all standard.
I had a call with the head of the complex needs social care team and I was quite pleased with it really.  They can't do anymore than follow a process, so they are just assessing his needs again and it will take time but she said she understood what we are asking for and why.  We'll see.  Right now I have to pack for his respite nights tomorrow and Friday and then he wants to play some Minecraft before bed.  He started a world yesterday and began to build a house, it's always a worry when he gets invested in it, because if he's clumsy or impulsive and dies, he gets really cross.  It's almost better when his attention is all over the place and he can't settle to a task because then he doesn't care if his character dies!  Wish me luck.
