It was the camera club summer outing tonight. The venue was Malmesbury. I wasn't sure about going initially as I was thinking that taking photos is usually a solo thing (i.e. you usually want to take your time on a shot and don't want to be a burden on companions)

But then I reminded myself that the prime reasons for joining the camera club were social and to improve my photography through learning from other photographers.

It was the right decision. It was a really enjoyable social outing and the weather actually turned really nice too. I can't say that I was particularly excited with the photos that I took, but the reasons for attending were more than satisfied.

The three photos here were the only ones that I was sort of happy with. The shot of the abbey was actually taken with my iphone after the meet up had finished and I was back at my car about to drive home.
