SNAZZY BEETLE

In an effort to shake off the headache and stupid aching fatigue that seemed to hit me over the weekend I went over to RSPB Saltholme and was rewarded by finding several of my favourite beetles, the golden-bloomed grey longhorn (Agapanthia villosoviridescens) with its impressive snazzy antennae. I didn't stay long as I needed to get home while I still had enough energy to drive the five miles back, but I'm glad I went.
