Friendly Jackdaw

Had a weird experience this evening in the woods at Polkemmet Park. Was walking along a quiet path when I glanced to the right and this young jackdaw was standing on a branch less than 2 feet from me. Didn’t seem bothered, just curious perhaps. 
While we exchanged pleasantries, I had time to get my phone out and take a couple of pics. It decided to fly off before we had a chance to take a proper selfie. Maybe next time.
