Engine House # 3

This Engine House was built in 1903, which was when Seattle was still fairly young. This Station House is now an office for Harbor View Hospital. I couldn't go inside but I could take pics to my hearts content!!

Seattle was established around 1852 or so. It has a very colorful past. A great book to read on Seattle history is: Sons of the Profit . In the book someone is quoted as saying : If we could have made more money elsewhere, that's where we would have gone. So, evidently, it was all about the money for our founding fathers!!
