This raspberry has been invaded!

Update on cats as I'm backblipping from Thursday - Ishbell had something called folded intestines, it happens when intestines start to fold into itself like a telescope, it causes a blockage and it can be very dangerous luckily our new vet caught it on a scan and Ishy had a major surgery during which she lost a part of her bowels yesterday (Wednesday) which she is now recovering from in the vet hospital. We are not out of the woods yet as all the stitches have to hold and all, so fingers crossed for her please, she recovered from anaesthetic very well.

Gizzmo has an infection in his urinary tract which causes nausea and discomfort, his kidneys are a bit worse as well, so we're trying to keep him eating with antinausea and apetite stimulants while he's on antibiotics to get rid of the infection. As anyone living with cats know, when they stop eating it's so hard to get them to eat again, but he is doing ok, with periods of good spirits and purring and periods of nausea and withdrawing... he needs good vibes too, he's 15 and his wee body needs a bit longer to recover now.

It has been a very difficult week so far.
