Presentation

The cup was duly brought home and we had the club presentation of all the medals and prices to the youngsters who play every Wednesday afternoon and then to our team. The Maire and his deputies were there and the children were very animated. The Maire r gave a short speech saying how good it was for the children to be involved in sport rather than hanging about on the streets and getting into trouble. Last night we had the annual meal in the clubhouse. There were twenty of us and we had an excellent paella followed by chocolate mousse and a big birthday cake for one of the coaches. There was plenty of wine and champagne. It was a very convivial evening, good conversation and good company.
