Terminal 3 : Home...coming or going?

Travelling back to California today. Not sure if we're coming from home or going back there.

I know it's felt sad to go through all the goodbyes again. And to leave on my mum's birthday.

But the highlights of the journey....

? being on the top deck of the Virgin Atlantic 747 - feels exclusive, even if it's still cattle class.

? in the queue boarding the plane, seeing the huge cargo door open, R says "There's a FERRARI in there!". And there was.
Pondered on the excess baggage charge required to take a Ferrari with you on a plane. One of those "If you have to ask..." questions, I guess.
Tried not to ponder on the forces required to get all those people, all their luggage, all the snacks AND A FERRARI up in the air....
