Cold

I went outside to check on the plants I bought yesterday. . I was looking forward to a gentle saunter round the garden. I didn’t stay long because even though I am still wearing my winter clothes it was still too cold to be out there for long. I checked the thermometer and it was just fifteen degrees..rain is forecast for later.
I took a picture of the hanging basket beside the back door.which seems to be doing well.
It is son J’s birthday today. We won’t be seeing him but have messaged him and will chat on the phone later.
