Walking home

I love this place.

During the summer there are free concerts at the little esplanade park on the edge of the beach. Bring your own folding chair or blanket, buy food, hang out as the sun goes down and hope that the fog stays away long enough.

If you're an almost-teenager though, you don't sit. You wander around hanging out with your friends, then walk home keeping a suitable distance from anyone who might look like your parents.
