Come in 21412, your number is up(right)
This bottle of celebratory beer has been kicking around for the past thirty two years, originally in a display cabinet but recently got evicted and has been gathering dust along with a similarly aged bottle of gold label. I took interest this morning and found that the bottle of Whitbread Celebratory Ale as it is probably worth about £20, in it’s wooden packing box about £50 plus, but in it’s presentation case with the glass that I took into use heaven knows what – value is what a collector will pay for it. Anyway, any offers,?
Historically, my daughter bought it for her boyfriend at the time back in 1992, and when she fell out with him it came my way.
I decided that it could be today’s blip, and I thought an abstract as it’s Thursday. I did hope to find a filter in PS to do similar, but in the end it was a manual effort. The sober version is at extra.
The bottle of Gold Label was in my Aunties drinks cabinet, so that’s got to be over 50yrs old, and I have not yet been able to find it on the web. Like the other bottle, it’s not getting drunk.
Following on from yesterday’s saga with Fred across the road the range extender disk turned up, but by then the WiFi had packed up. EE were 100% on the phone and have recorded that the original router had obviously been used before and not checked or reset before sending out, and a replacement router is in the post – hey/hay ho.
Many thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursday
