a sea of color

It was already hot when we headed out for our morning walk today. So there was not much lingering to enjoy the sights and take photographs.
We passed a new garden in the neighborhood and I appreciated the placement of yellow yarrow amongst the purple irises, so I took a few snaps from a distance. This one with focus on the midground interested me the most.
