Local Hero.

We journeyed to quite a few places around the coast today.

Cruden Bay- absolutely stunning sandy beach. ( 2nd extra)

Staines Castle: absolutely huge! ( 1st extra)

Fraserburgh: another beautiful beach.

Peterhead: lots of fishing vessels.

Pennan: the gorgeous wee village where the film Local Hero was filmed. Interestingly, another film was in production there today. ( Not Local Hero 2!) The red phone box in this wee village is probably the most famous phone box in the world.

Crovie: Just along the road from Pennan, but even more isolated. (3rd extra)

Banff: A nice wee town, with lots of independent shops.
