Watchers

In Liverpool as Abby is at the Taylor Swift concert and it’s been a real bonus to see the sea! I’ve missed it. Wonderful to take a walk on the beach despite it being very cold and very windy. I’m at Crosby beach just north of Liverpool - never been here before asgd it has the extraordinary metal statues of men on the beach and in the sea. Quite a sight, standing facing out to sea as if waiting or just watching. I don’t know much about the background so will check it out when I’m back home. They were strangely eerie - kept expecting them to start walking at any second!
