Nature At Work

This is a portion of the path that we walk regularly along the ocean. It’s a pretty good illustration of the power of storms. You can see where the cliff has eroded, taking sections of the fence with it. The site is definitely still active—that dip in the fence on the left is getting more dramatic. The barricades have been up for some time, and I haven’t seen any work being done. I remember hearing that the jurisdiction may be shared between State Parks and the city. That would slow things down somewhat. It will be interesting to see how this is resolved.
