Banana Vine Fower

I've enjoyed a stay at home day. Even did some housework this morning. This afternoon we stacked fire wood. Its the second load of wood we have bought in this winter.....we just love our fire to bits and I hate being cold.

This pesky vine is growing along our road, not on our road side but the other side. Its is a terrible thing and if let go will smother trees and smaller scrubs given half a chance. Up in the Marlborough Sounds there is an eradication programme to eliminate it. It does have a lovely flower.

To make mistakes is human;
to stumble is common;
to be able to laugh at yourself when you do it is what gets
you through the day.
