Foxgloves
Another day of sunshine and showers - more of the latter than the former, sadly. The morning brings a visit to the surgery for a ‘long term condition review’ - something I’ve never had before, and an encouraging indication that our surgery is starting to get its act together. Of course it provides no diagnostic elements, but it’s good to know that primary healthcare’s playing its part.
A short walk before the promised - threatened - rain, provides for photo opportunities. The foxgloves this year seem spectacular - in fact all the wild flowers seem quite glorious. Perhaps ironically, it’s one advantage of this most unsummery weather.
Then it’s an afternoon of house cleaning and cake baking ready for our weekend visitors; hopefully Lili’s coming to stay, with her parents of course!
