Save The Larrochmore Pub Witch.

The mural was painted to celebrate last year’s Halloween and has become quite a well known landmark in Pittenweem.

The mural is painted on the gable end of the Larrochmore and is only seen through the small gap formed by the building next more.

The gap forms a footpath which makes its way up to the High Street.

However, Fife Council’s North East Planning Committee ruled that it must be painted over as it disturbs the ‘muted tones’ of the village.

Pittenweem is host to a yearly Arts Festival.
