Lovely up here..

this morning, despite poor forecast. Initial blether with farmer putting in new kissing gate as bikers are leaving his stock gates open. Always pleasant, last spoke when he was bridging the burn at the stepping stones to facilitate feeding his sheep in winter.
The flora was spectacular, Orchids, Birdsfoot trefoil, Milkworts, Marsh Cinquefoil (covered in bees). There were Common Blue Damselflies at the lochan and , as a bonus, a Narrow Bordered Bee Hawk Moth on the trefoil on the track down! The Sand Martins were feeding over the burn and Pipits and Willow Warblers calling.
