Hedge Cutting...

...but first tea and ten minutes on my phone?!

They are so good at what they do and really work hard - precision hedge cutting and they leave the garden immaculately tidy.

My day started just after they arrived - drive over to Tooting via Waze short cuts avoiding M25.  No.1 feeling tired after disturbed night so we had a slow start.  She had a scheduled call with her employer although her boss forgot (moving house, so other things were priority maybe).  Helpful call confirming they were not rushing things and she came across and kind and compassionate.  Here's hoping the next stages help symptoms and a return to work is possible.

We were a bit undecided how to spend the afternoon and after some deliberation decided to hop on the train to take No.1's dress back to Covent Garden (as you do at 4.00 in the afternoon!).  However we had a quick beak around a few shops and then impromptu dinner in Chinatown - probably a 4/10 but it saved cooking.  Home to Tooting and JC home unexpectedly as No.1 thought he was out for the evening.  I rustled up a quick pasta and prawns while he had a shower then drove back to Kent.  Another long day but good to spend time with No.1 even though it makes me so sad to see everything she is going through.  All things must pass and I hope they improve PDQ please Lord!!!
