Mrs Tiggy Winkle ....
...... HeartFreek's Challenge .... Shadow
Came out to the pool first thing this morning to discover a hedgehog frantically swimming and trying to get out of the pool but the edges were too slippery. It had obviously come to get a drink during the night and fallen in. I ran to grab the net and hooked it out. I must say it didn't look too good and after 10 minutes I thought it had died as there were no signs of life.
I placed the net in the shade and covered the hedgehog with a towel and waited .... and waited .... then I saw movement. Over a period of 2 hours she, (I'd named her Mrs Tiggy Winkle after the first hour had passed), lifted her head. She started snuffling and making the most lovely noises and started to make a recovery.
I can honestly say that I've had the hardest decision I've ever had to take regarding which picture to upload today.
1. Do I make a montage of captures.
2. Do I post an amazing macro shot of her little face.
3. Do I stick to HeartFreek's Challenge.
This is a shot of Mrs. Tiggy Winkle fully recovered some 4 hours after her ordeal and ....
.... HeartFreek's Challenge - Shadow won.
