Jeju S. Korea

When this one guy came closer I pulled up another piece of grass to see if he would take it from my hand.  He very cautiously approached (since he didn't know me) and then quickly snatched it out of my hand - so quickly that his upper beak scratched my thumb next to the nail.  This red streak I dubbed "The Mark of the Ostrich".  They are amusing birds.
