The last survivor
This small haberdashery is the last survivor of all the traditional shops that were in the neighbourhood where I lived with my family when I was young. I remember going there with my mother to look for threads, needles, wool, stockings, socks, etc. There was a little bit of everything.
I had thought it was definitely closed because the other days I passed by it was closed.
Today I was happy to see it open and I went in under the pretext that I needed some spools of thread.
The lady of the store, the owner, recognized me and was happy to see me, as I was happy to see her. She said that the store had been closed due to serious illness on her part but she said that she had recovered and that she would not close the store; At least for the moment!!
In the extra you can see the few colours that are still left on the spools of thread display box.
