Wren

Slightly sunny to begin with, but the cloud moves in. Quiet day at work checking some code which isn't formatting data correctly. Partner out to meet friends who also worked for the NHS. I go for a wee walk around the park. Quite dull out side. In the woods I spot a couple of wrens flitting from branch to branch. The one in the photo stays still the longest, so in the darkness of the wood, it the least blurry photo. Heavy spits and spots of rain on the way home.

The persistent rain arrives early at 3pm. Still raining after work, but the rain radar shows a dry spell is approaching. So a wee bit late, partner and I go for a late afternoon walk around the park. Quite warm and muggy outside, so the cold air that was blowing in from Greenland has been blocked. A dry walk. Rain arrives a few minutes after we get home. Time it well.
