Party Time

We drove up to Newark this afternoon for a 50th birthday party this evening. As we didn't have the children with us (we left them with grandparents at the school fair!) we drove on A and B roads, taking our time and passing through some very pretty villages. When we arrived in Newark, as the weather was so fab, we went for a drink by the river before heading to our friend's house for the party.

Great evening... we were able to eat, drink and dance outside, as it does appear that summer has finally arrived!
