Condor Cross

Up early to hike to the Canyon edge for sunrise, then, after breakfast, we returned to Condor Cross – plenty of other tourists at this time of day but also plenty of Condors, gliding very impressively on the Canyon thermals. We did some more walking before chilling out with a visit to a hot springs and stopping off in a picturesque village to drink some weird, sour cactus juice and have our photo taken with a llama in sunglasses. After that there was just time for the ubiquitous buffet lunch (at least, for those of us that are eating today) before we caught our afternoon bus to Puno…
