Iced tea in Cardiff

We're in Cardiff, Wales this week. The locals are friendly, although most are either speaking their native Welsh language or English with such a thick accent that I don't understand much of what is said. I've perfected the smiley nod. As a/c is uncommon in the UK, windows are open & the weather is gorgeous (mid 70s). It's neat to be in big dept stores & not have the hum of a/c equipment...and to feel a breeze blowing through. It seems a crime not to have an iced tea in this pretty sunshine, so I made a cup of tea in the hotel kettle & then poured it into a big pint glass full of ice (ahhh, ice). So, all is right in this girl's world. This is the hotel (it has a pond & a busy gym that is used by the town folk). Tom Jones dominates the muzak. Ha!
