It's Flower Friday!

Today's FF offering is one of our lavenders, pot grown, proving that some plants at least enjoy the unseasonably cold day temperatures, wind and virtually constant rain!
In other news:  Mr MC was obliged to go to the central London hospital with only four hours notice for his pre op assessment.  Lucky that he can get there in one to two hours, otherwise they would have been obliged to think of something else.  I drove him to and from our nearby tube station and the rest of the journey he had to complete on the tube train: driving is a nightmare in London and none of the hospitals have their own parking.  To park, it would somewhere nearby-ish have to be pre booked and be very expensive.  We are fortunate that one of our neighbours is a black cab driver and he has been booked for the very early morning journey on Monday and the much later pick up.
