Exploring NSW continues
So our search for waterfalls around New South Wales continues. This time with a different bunch of people. Why? well to be honest, this waterfall trip is a bit of back up plan. Today I was meant to go to a-MAZE-ment park, where they supposedly had large mazes within Central Coast for us to get lost in (the kid in all of us yearns for this excitement). Unfortunately, when we arrived, there were no maze, actually there was one maze but the height of the shrub-ish thing is barely half our height. So how the hell are we suppose to get lost in this maze when we can see the damn exit! DAMN IT, we can just leap over the shrub one by one! The old man that runs the place said that its much better in summer.........ok so I guess next time.
This is when we decided to turn back and look for another location where SOMERSBY FALLS came into place. So after about 30-60 minutes of roaming around central coast and a case of bad rocky roads we seem to be able to find SOMERSBY FALLS. I'd also like to mention that we did get to the falls' trail walk where we were told by a foreign hiker that it was 4km of total mud and bush! My fellow co-explorers went 0.0 and said nah uh! So we drove to the end of the trail and got to the falls itself where there were some bits of bush walkin to get to the lower waterfall.
Overall, this waterfall is not as overwhelming and breathtaking as Wentworthfalls but definitely worth the VISIT! Especially in a good day as today!
Until another waterfall is discovered, this series will stop here :D
