Out the Front

Blipped out the front of the Naracoorte Hotel looking across the entrance doorway past the smoker's chair.

I have stayed at the Hotel before and was disappointed. I was very comfortable this time. The room was warm and the linen immaculate; the bed was comfortable. I slept from 5pm until just after midnight and again from 3am until 15 minutes past 10.

Sure, for $40.00 a night's stay the rooms and the service do not make the Ritz.

Gaming has taken over. Anybody who is faint of heart about being cast into the midst of the noise and ambience of a gaming room ought not stay. The transactions over the rooms were conducted in the gaming room leaving the main reception office closed down.

Even the guests' foyer and old wooden stairs are carpeted in a green for-luck I guess carpet covered in a repeatedly capering green frog strewing what appear to be glittering gold coins the floor around.
