New Bushcare Site

A busy day today ending in our monthly Book Club meeting followed by getting together at a local café for dinner. Love our Book Club even at times when the book we read does not engage me.
Before Book Club I went to a meeting to determine what new bush care sites will be established as offsets for bush damaged as a result of the Light Rail Extension project. If an area of bush is destroyed then it must be replaced with a previously agreed ratio of compensation. The Light Rail project was a 1:1 ratio (normally much higher) and as a committee member involved in the bush care group associated with project it was down to agreeing where these sites will be. One that is agreed is the area on the right of the photo. I will keep you posted on progress!
