In Between Showers

The day started bright and sunny, so I took myself into the local fields to see if I could find the deer and in particular the new calves.  I did see them, but not in anyway an opportunity for a good photo.  All of the time clouds were building up and the sun soon disappeared.

L went riding and got absolutely sodden.  I had some chores to do, dodging the showers and then I grabbed the camera and put the 20mm lens on it to  try something different.  Wow, it can focus close!  I've mainly used it for astrophotography, including the shots I took of the Milky Way while in South Africa, so it was interesting to try it as a wide angle macro tool.
