Woke up & had a few cuppas before taking a walk to my parents to say "Hai!". Dad was having an off day when I saw him on Thursday, feeling a bit off, but today he seemed brighter. We watched Bargain Hunt where the Blues won somehow even though they too had made a loss!

Blip is of the flowers carpeting the stone wall of some cottages approaching theirs. Despite the (yet more) rain, they kept me chirpy.

Afterwards youngest accompanied me to father in laws to put new batteries in his fire alarms that had been chirping away like Budgerigars for a few days. We also replaced two flickering led lamps in his bathroom. I don't know about anyone else but am finding most of the ones I fit, whilst pretty good, don't seem to last as long as their packaging predicts.

After that it was a shop at Lidl which also have a handy battery disposal box near the exit. Dad had mentioned Portuguese Custard Tarts earlier so youngest got him a couple :-)
