On the Inside, looking out...
We arrived home about 8pm last night which wasn't too bad, although it felt like a very long day! The traffic was fine, apart from going through Lyon which was very slow, but at least we were able to unpack and relax for a bit before heading to bed.
We're both back in work today, although for me I only have two weeks left before we move in three weeks time. So this morning I was up early and went to the supermarket to do the food shop, and then I had to come into town to collect a parcel from the post office. I was very happy to find that it was my 365 book, and I'm really pleased with it. I've not had chance to look through it all yet, but the quality is very good, and it's a nice keepsake - particularly of my time in Belgium, and also because it was such an eventful year.
Anyway, while I was in town I took this photo from inside the Church looking out onto the main Chaussee de Bruxelles. The building opposite is the Wellington Museum which I've blipped before.
I feel that I had a very productive morning before I even started work. It's hot in the shop today, the air conditioning is on, but it's struggling to cope with the heat. I can't complain though, its nice to come back from holiday to good weather!
Anyway, once again thanks to those of you who carried on commenting on my journal while I was away, I will now try and catch up with you all.
