Ditch

Spent the better part of the day digging troughs for the downspouts of a friend's house.  There's been water in the basement after every rainstorm.  
    The "Basement Waterproofing Company" salesman offered to make it all better for only $24 thousand.  My suggestion was to spend a couple hundred and put pipe in the ground to take the water away from the foundation.  
      We'll see how it goes,  but I'm pretty confident.
