Catbird

Haven't seen many of these this year though you can hear a few of them. I hate the Japanese Honeysuckle because they are invasive and when they die they are hard to deal with as the wood is so hard with so many branches, but the catbirds loved them for the berries and a nesting spot. I lost several right across from the pool so it was a great spot to watch the birds. However it has been replanted with natives- 2 red osier dogwoods, a service tree ,a nine bark and 3 winterberry bushes (the berries have yet to make it to winter). Hopefully when they get bigger they will provide much better food for the birds.
