Back to the Prom
I decided to wear walking sandals and walk the 5k today to allow my nail less toe more airtime.
Ella came from behind, taking part in her first parkrun and being encouraged to keep going by a friend. They had taken a wrong turn and added a fair bit of distance to their run but were both cheerful in their efforts.
I was also overtaken by a young man who recently completed his DoE volunteering with us. He shouted my name and that he said he would come back.and run. He was one of the more challenging volunteers to manage but I was pleased to see him.
I visited Pa. He appeared less stressed which is good but has hinted at a long list of jobs he has for my sister and I 'when they've gone'
