Hemlock Water Dropwort

This plant, a native to the UK,  grows prolifically along the stream that runs along the edge of our garden and it looks very attractive. Despite the fact it belongs to the carrot family, it should not be foraged as it is toxic if eaten!
I drove over to Tobermory in the morning for a hair appointment. Sadly, this will be my last one with my lovely hairdresser as she is shortly leaving her job to start a new venture. The Main Street was busy with passengers from the two cruise ships in the bay as they strolled in the warm sunshine.
Back home, I had my own group of visitors to meet in our local church.  These were over thirty travellers from Texas who were en route to Iona, part of their Scotland tour, but they were stopping especially to look at the stained glass in the church and one window in particular which, if you are interested, you can read more about in the link below. N.B. It should be read with a pinch of salt.
