cooking the sugar syrup for the baklava. The rest of our pod was overlooking the melting of the butter (K), sorting out the filo sheets (K) and mixing the nuts. (P).

Our office had a Greek cooking session for our Summer Social at Ilia's Kitchen. We cooked pita breads koftas and baklava (the filo was pre-prepared). We were also shown how to make proper humus, fattoush salad and falafel.

It was fun and the food was good. Some of the recipes will definitely be used again.
