At Jeri's

Lazy morning catching up on Blip comments after our night out last night.

 There were several things happening in the city yesterday and the Birdcage wasn't as busy as it often is. Which was better from my point of view as it felt less like we were crashing a riotous private party whilst stone cold sober.

I was still a little nervous until after my second drink. By then the band were on. Rasty's Skiffle City Rockers are the new band of the former vocalist of our old favourites, The League of Mentalmen, and almost as good. It was a much better evening than I could have hoped.

We went to Jeri's today and had a lovely buffet lunch for Father's Day. Brian got some lovely treats too. We watched Denmark v Slovenia and I was disappointed that Denmark only drew with them. 

We're home now and watching England v Serbia. England just scored! 

My Blip, as you've probably guessed, is Jeri's engagement ring. They're not getting married for a couple of years they say....
