Tapestry in Beoley

St Leonard's Beoley has long standing connection through the Sheldon family with tapestry making in England through the centuries.  There is a meeting room in the church called the Tapestry room and here you can see part of the tapestry which is behind the high altar.  It is lovely close to but personally I would like to see a brightly coloured more modern tapestry.  Perhaps that wouldn't be very popular in such an old church.

It's been a lovely day here but we haven't quite recovered from the birthday celebrations yet.  I have been thinking about my Dad a lot today.
