Water Festival.

A selection of snaps from the town's festival. All the vessels are made just from cardboard, paint, tape etc with no plastic allowed. The idea seemed to be for them to do a number of circuits, during which several would disintegrate. It reminded me of hard biscuits being repeatedly dunked until they dissolved. The survivors would then embark on a mock battle with the others, or set about sinking their own boat.
