Gabriel Oak

We were lucky with the weather today, it stayed fine and I had a good day in the garden. I planted my lovely new rose, Gabriel Oak, which Barbara bought for me. It’s a David Austin English Rose, and has a delightful scent, and the colour really glows in the border.
We have been tracking Barbara’s flight home, and having left Paris at 2.30 she is due in Calgary at 3.30! Amazing time travel! She’s almost due to land now, so she will be feeling exhausted I expect, but she will be delighted to see her two Bedlington terrier’s again.
Bonnie is definitely missing her, they were really good friends especially when Barbara made dog cookies!
