The view from the Point

We go to DeSoto Memorial weekly, after visiting with my mom. She is 89 with early dementia and very stubborn. Quite the combination! After the visit we almost always go to this National park/memorial as it is beautiful, peaceful and has a lot of shade mixed in with sunny spots. As Steven walked under the Sea Grapes and looked out over the Manatee River, I was drawn to take this photo.
